Obituary

Nina Adkins
(December 7, 1980 - July 22, 2014)

Nina Adkins, 33, of Huntington, WV, passed away July 22, 2014 at St. Mary's Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 26, 2014 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville. Burial will be in Eaves Cemetery, Branchland. She was born December 7, 1980 in Cabell County, a daughter of Billy Joe Adkins and the late Kathy Walker Adkins. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Joe and Alma Walker, paternal grandparents, Virgil and Effie Adkins, and her twin sister, Lena Adkins. In addition to her father, she is survived by her son, Russell Kent Adkins; two brothers, Don Kingery and Michael Joe Adkins; very special "second" parents, Denise Beheler and Greg "Poppy" Hensley; Aunt Granny, Mildred Beheler and Uncle Pa Pal, Gary Beheler; sister Brandy Cornell; and a host of other family and friends. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
