JAMES RUDY "BUTTONS" HAMMOND
(February 5, 1955 - November 6. 2015)

JAMES RUDY "BUTTONS" HAMMOND, 60, of Chesapeake, Ohio, died Friday, November 6, 2015. Funeral services will be conducted at noon Thursday, November 12, 2015, at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel by the Rev. Heron Adkins. Burial will be in Brinegar Cemetery. He was born February 5, 1955, in Cabell County, a son of the late Millie Hammond. He is survived by two daughters, Aimee Gable of Iowa and Tonya Hammond of Portsmouth, Ohio; four sons, James Michael Hammond and Gregory Todd Hammond, both of Huntington, Jamie White of Pensacola, Fla., and Anthony Smith of Hawaii; a half-brother Troy Adkins of Branchland, W.Va.; and ten grandchildren. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
