ObituaryPhilip Louie Dinges Philip Louie Dingess, 78 of Huntington, went home to be with the Lord on July 9, 2021, husband of Wanda Bolen Dingess of 55 years. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 15, 2021 at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Rev. Roger Mooney and Rev. James Bolen. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. He was born July 5, 1943, in Huntington, a son of the late Lewis and Lucy Dingess. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a retired bus driver of 31 years of service at TTA, and former owner, operator, and supervisor of Adams Avenue Floral for 24 years and also retired from Greater Huntington Theater Corp. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Brian Wilson; uncle and aunt, Clyde and Sylvia Dingess; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Kenneth and Maggie McNeely, Curtis and Betty Bolen, George and Wendy Bolen, Vernon and Mary Bolen, Donald and Julia Bolen, Richard Bolen, William Cignoni, and Arthur Bolen. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Juanita Wilson (Bruce Craft) of Huntington; one son and daughter-in-law, Philip Louie and Anita Dingess Jr. of Palm Coast, FL; one sister, Linda Watts of North Carolina; four grandchildren, Ashley Wilson (James “Chester” Hamlin), Mary (RJ) Mills, Glenn (Emily) Wilson, and Deanna Wilson; and several great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jack and Myrna Arrowwood, James and Lynn Bolen, Micki Bolen, and Norma Cignoni; and a lovable fur baby, Rocky. A special thank you to Zach Lyons. Pallbearers will be the Ceredo Volunteer Fire Department. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
