Tisha Denise Adkins, 61, of Huntington, widow of Douglas Adkins, died Thursday, August 8, 2019 in St. Mary's Medical Center. She was born April 15, 1958 in Welch, WV, a daughter of the late Dennis Adams and Clara Frances June Garner Mansfield. She also had four brothers and a grandson; Thomas Allen May, precede her in death. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her two daughters, Jessica Carson of Huntington, and Michelle Byars of Fairmont, WV; three grandchildren, Patricia Leann Byars-Curry and husband, Stephen Curry, of Fairmont, Bryan Adams of Huntington, and Joselyn Litisha May of Huntington; four great grandchildren, Patrick Lee Curry, Laykin Michelle Curry, Dreama Nikay Curry, and Bryanna Jamie Adams; three brothers, Jimmy Mansfield, David Mansfield, and Ronnie Mansfield of Huntington; and a sister, Sheila Ray of Huntington. She will be cremated and there will be a memorial service at 5:00 PM Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Altizer Park.
