Rickey Alden Adkins, 62, of Hamlin, WV, died Saturday, August 3, 2019 at St. Mary's Medical Center. He was born October 2, 1956 in Hamlin, WV a son of the late Darnell Alden and Icylene Elsie Adkins. He was a carpenter by trade and enjoyed riding four wheelers. Survivors include three sisters and a brother-in-law, Bonnie Adkins of South Charleston, WV, Beverly and Woody Adkins of Vale, NC, and Lisa Britt of Clinton, NC; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Gary Joe and Judy Adkins of Ona, and Bobby Adkins of Stark, FL; and many special nieces and nephews. He will be cremated, and his cremains will be inurned at Goldsbury Cemetery, Lincoln County, at a later date. Donations may be sent to the American Diabetes Association in his name.
