Ward Curtis Benson, III, 65, of Huntington, husband of Deborah Luce Benson, passed away Saturday, October 12, 2019 at his residence. Born October 3, 1954 in Brockton, MA., he was the son of the late Ward Curtis Benson, Jr., and Constance Hatch Benson. Mr. Benson worked multiple jobs over the years, with his most recent beig a dispatcher for Darcy Refrigeration in Holyoke, MA. He was a US Marine Corp veteran, and a member of Grace Gospel Church, where a memorial service will be conducted at 6:00 pm Thursday, October 17, 2019, with Pastor Keith Wiebee, Jr. officiating. Survivors in addition to his wife include; one daughter, Amy Benson Bare of Huntington; two sons, Timothy Benson of ElCajon, CA., and Mark Benson of Deposit, NY; two sisters, Donna grant and Diane Annen-Benson both of Wareham, MA; and five grandchildren, Emmalyn Bare, Lilly Bare, Micah Benson, Grayson Benson, and Ezra Benson. No visitation is scheduled prior to the service Thursday. Chapman's Mortuary is assisting the family.
