Obituary



Donald Ray Moore, 62, of Huntington, father of Joshua Moore and Julie Walters, died Monday, October 28, 2019 at his residence. He was born June 14, 1957 in Huntington, a son of Edna Delephine McComas Moore of Huntington, and the late Garland Earl Moore. Donald was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a former auto worker for Chrysler Corporation in Detroit, MI. In addition to his mother, survivors include a son, Joshua Moore of Ceredo, WV; a daughter, Julie Walters of Kenova; and brother-in-law, Joyce and Danny Bellomy of Barboursville; brother and sister-in-law, Garland M. and Leslie Moore of Peck, MI; and six grandchildren, Tia Moore, Brayden Moore, Jeffrey Moore, Joshua Moore, Jr., Hanna Walters, and Caden Walters. Graveside memorial services will be conducted 1:30 PM Friday, November 1, 2019 at White Chapel Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, with Pastor Phil Wilson officiating and Veterans Honor Guard Post 16 conducting military rites. Inurnment will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Friends may visit after 1:00 pm Friday at the cemetery.
