Donald Lee Smith
(May 27, 1945 - August 17, 2015)

Donald Lee Smith, 73, of Huntington, WV passed away surrounded by his loving family on Friday, August 17, 2018 at home.  He was born on May 27, 1945 in Ashland, KY to the late Dewey Smith and Annabell (Clark) Smith.  Donald was a proud Vietnam Veteran!  He is preceded in death along with his parents, his late loving wife, Barbara Jane Smith; grandson, Tanner Edwards; sister, Wilma Vanhorn and son-in-law, Eric Freeman.  He leaves behind to cherish his memory; daughters, Sonia Freeman, Donna Hutchinson, Valerie Kelley, Kelly Edwards, & Jeani Heck; sons, Eric Ray Smith, Dale Urban & Eddie Wikel (Shellie); sisters, Marcella Odom and Betty Cabbell and brother, June Smith.  Also, surviving are his grandchildren: Donovan Freeman (Erin), Stephanie Freeman, Paige Moore, Jessie Hutchinson, Jered Robertson, Erica Ludwig, Erica Smith, Drake Smith, Tyler Edwards, Travis Edwards, Grace Edwards, Kala Urban, Haley Gower (Cameron), Darian Wikel, Ernie Wikel, Billy Wikel, Dezeria Wikel, Destiny Wikel, Ella Wikel, Isaiah Wikel, Jeremy Wikel, Ian Urban (Stacey), Christie Urban, Michael Urban & Tori Urban; and 15 great-grandchildren.  Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home with Pastor Randall Robertson, officiating.  Family will welcome friends at 12 Noon.  Burial will follow service at Spring Hill Cemetery, Huntington.
