Garnet Virginia Cozzens
(August 24, 1931 - January 10, 2018)

Garnet Virginia Cozzens, 86 went to be with the Lord on January 10, 2018.  Born on August 24, 1931, in Palmer Township, Stockport, OH, where she resided until her death.  Daughter of Clarence & Agnes Anderson.  "Ginny" was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Cozzens; two brothers, Don & Wayne Anderson; and sisters, M. Bessie Pugh and Juanita Strahler.  Virginia was a homemaker and a member of the Oak Hill United Methodist Church and Ladies Aide.  She is survived by 3 children: Kenneth (Vicki) Cozzens, Nancy Chandler (Michael Tomlin) and Connie Lawrence; 7 grandchildren: Shauna (Phil) Skinner, Amanda (Rick) Schmidt, Maggie (Bobby McCain) Ashby, Marc Cozzens, Nathan (Maggie) Cozzens, Nicolette (Grant Barkley) Lawrence and Brandon Lawrence; 9 great-grandchildren:  Breanna & Seth Skinner, Darrion, John & David Schmidt, Raylee Cozzens, Bobby II, Austin & Loreal McCain.  Also, surviving; son in-law, Carl Chandler; sister, Twyla Fite; sister in-law, Barbara Cozzens and several nieces, nephews, wonderful friends and neighbors.  Many thanks to CHS Hospice for their loving care of Virginia.  Special thanks to our dear friends, Chuck & Connie Tkach.  A family graveside service is planned at a later date.  Arrangements are entrusted to Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home.
