Michael Cory Sutphin
(November 20, 1987 - January 2, 2018)

Michael Cory Sutphin, 30 of Ona, WV passed away January 2, 2018.  He was born on November 20, 1987.  He is preceded in death by his father, Lucian Michael Pelfrey; and paternal grandfather, Butch Pelfrey.  Michael leaves behind to mourn; his loving mother, Kristie Hammond (Tia) and his fiancé, Tara Gillispie; his siblings, Angelina, Layla and Ryan Sutphin, Kara and Josie Freeman, Nicholas Pelfrey and Nathan Graves; maternal grandparents, Deborah and Jackie Lawhorn; paternal grandmother, Susanne Pelfrey.  Also, surviving are his aunts, Angela Reynolds (Bob), Debbie Jean Woods (Joe), Carrie Lara (Ricky), Geneva Pelfrey and Dee Dee Boley (Mark) and host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and many friends.  Visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M., Monday, January 15, 2018 at Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow at 6:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at the funeral home.  Per Michael’s wishes, he will be cremated after services.
