Norman John Stanley
June 18, 1985 - October 1, 2018)



Norman John Stanley III, 33, of Huntington, WV, formerly of Kennebunk Port, ME, passed away October 1, 2018 at his home.  He was born on June 18, 1985 in Portland, ME to Gary and Janice Stanley. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Norman John Stanley II and Edward Robertson, Jr.  He was 2003 graduate of Guyan Valley Hugh School and continued on to receive his Masters Plumbers license.  Norman work as a general labor contractor and plumber for his family’s business, S & S Construction & Electric since he was a young teenager and hoped to take over the family business one day.  He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, four-wheeling, hiking, boating and camping.  He also loved music, concerts, dancing and most of all, making people laugh.  He loved animals, the beach and spending time in Maine with his family.  He loved to spend time with his nephews and teach them how to do things.  He was actively involved in helping those who suffered from addiction by spreading messages of hope, love, inspiration and offering to help get them into treatment.  Norman is survived by his parents; his Nana, Norma P. Stanley of South Portland, ME; sisters, Garrianne Stanley, Tammy Stanley, both of Huntington, WV, Norma Jean Stanley of Red Boiling Spring, TN, Kristi Stanley of Scarbourogh, ME and Lisa Morgan of Biddleford, ME; nephews, Gary Stanley, Ethan Lyons, Luke Cremeans and Logan McGlaughlin; niece, Brianne Christian and the lady whom was like another mother to Norman, Valarie Giasson and a host of other family members and friends.  Visitation will be held from 7:00 – 9:00 P.M., Friday, October 5, 2018 at Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 Noon, Saturday, October 6, 2018 at the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery, Huntington.
