Obituary

Tarryn Joseph Page
(March 7, 1988 - October 8, 2019)

Tarryn Joseph Page, 31, of Huntington, WV went to his Heavenly home on Tuesday, October 8, 2019.  He was born on March 7, 1988 to parents, Massie Louise Page and the late Craig Joseph Crawford.  Tarryn was known for his contagious laugh that was always accompanied by the most bright and beautiful smile.  Those who knew him would always leave any conversation with him feeling lighter and happier.  He was well known for his jokes and true comedic wit.  He was truly kind, friendly, charismatic and always the life of the party.  He loved all sports of any type ranging from basketball all the way down to golf, hockey and even curling.  But his true love was football.  You couldn’t say the name “Spoon” without thinking of the Ohio State Buckeyes or the Dallas Cowboys.  He was a true ride or die fan, til the end.  Beyond sports, he had a deep respect and love for his family.  His mother and grandmothers were his entire world.  Once he became a father, that smile he always carried became bigger and brighter than ever.  There is nothing he was more proud of than his 4 beautiful children he brought into this world.  Tarryn eventually met his now wife and proudly took on the role of husband and family man.  Near the end of his life he was able to realize that he had accomplished so many of his personal goals and dreams which he had always longed for.  He maintained close relationships with his family, he married a beautiful, loyal and loving wife and his kids were smart, kind, funny and looked just like him.  When Tarryn’s time on earth was done and he left this world, he left knowing he was admired by most and truly loved by so many.  In faith, we believe as he walked through the pearly gates of Heaven, he was able to do so with a clear mind that was full of love, hope and true joy that filled his heart.  He leaves behind to cherish his memories, along with his mother; his loving wife, Jocelyn Page; his children, Jace Duckworth, Kiyan, Olivia, Amelia and Saylor Page.  Also, surviving are his siblings: James Mance, Karen (Jamaal), Misty Dawn, Craig "CJ", Shauna, Joseph, Ciana, Ezekiel, Quinton and Christian; maternal grandparents, Ruth and Archie Page; paternal grandmother, Constance Crawford; his god-daughter, Deztinee Kline and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.  Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 P.M., Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Reginald Hill, officiating.  The family will welcome friends from 2:00 P.M. to service time.  Per Tarryn’s wishes, he will be cremated following services.
