Obituary

MARY JANE WOODARD NIMMO, 76, of Milton, passed away Sunday, April 18, 2004, at home after a long illness. She was born May 31, 1937, in Huntington, a daughter of the late Daniel and Otealu Adkins Woodard. She is survived by her loving husband, R.W. "Bill" Nimmo; one son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Bertie Nimmo of Huntington; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Teresa and Rick Childers of Milton, Anita and Ed Langdon of Winter Park, Fla., and Cheryl Nimmo of Milton; eight grandchildren and their spouses, Ray and Tammy (Faber) Nimmo, Brian and Karen Nimmo, Angie and Rick Payton, Jarrod and Lisa Childers, John and Kristy Childers, Daniel Childers, Patrick McNair and Amanda McNair; also six beautiful great-grandchildren. Special thanks to our very special caregivers, Penny Conner and Doris Chaney and Hospice of Huntington; Pastor Chuck Elkins; and Trudy Black. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Huntington. She was loved very much and will be sadly missed by her family. Graveside services for the family will be held at a later date. Heck Funeral Home, Milton is in charge of arrangements.
