Obituary

FRANCES O. HATFIELD, 79, of Huntington went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, January 13, 2004, in Cabell Huntington Hospital. Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, January 16, 2004, at Heck Funeral Home, Milton, with Pastor Bill Davis and Minister Pete Davidson officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery, Huntington. She was born June 18, 1924, a daughter of the late Albert M. Sr. and Zella E. Hunt Erwin. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Albert Erwin Jr., and three sisters, Violet Childers, Norma Erwin and Emma McDonie. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Tom Lucas of Lavalette; one son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Carol Hatfield of Milton; one sister, Leoma Chapman of Barboursville; one brother and sister-in-law, Carroll and Helen Erwin of Barboursville; four grandchildren, Steve (Rhonda) Lucas of Huntington, Kathy (Harold) Smith of Huntington, Kristi Wilson of Lavalette and Brad Hatfield of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla.; and five great-grandchildren, Brandi, Cody, Raelyn, Noah and Lucas. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, January 15 at Heck Funeral Home.
