Obituary

GOLDA KELLEY, 91, of Milton, W.Va., passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2005, in Morris Memorial Nursing Home, Milton. Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 5, 2005, at Heck Funeral Home, Milton, with Dr. Thomas J. DuBose officiating. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. She was born January 1, 1914, a daughter of the late Reece and Ella Jarvis. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Kelley; seven brothers and sisters and one grandchild. After raising her family in Milton, Golda lived several years in Westerville, Ohio, and after retiring from Riverside Hospital, she returned to Milton. She was a member of Milton Baptist Church, the Order of Eastern Star 149 in Milton and a former member of North Baptist Church, Columbus, Ohio. She is survived by one son, Bill Kelley and his wife Janet of Milton; three daughters, Dixie and her husband Jim of Milton, Dorothy Wise of Milton and Judy Kidner and her husband Raymond of Grove City, Ohio; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson. The family is very appreciative of the care and kindness shown to her by Rose Greene and the aides and nurses at Morris Memorial Nursing Home. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, February 4, 2005, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the April Dawn Park Fund c/o Bank One Milton. (April Dawn Kelley was a granddaughter of Golda Kelley.)
