Obituary

DORIS JEAN PAYTON STOWASSER, 69, of Hurricane, wife of William "Bill" Stowasser, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2005, in St. Mary's Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, March 7, 2005, at Heck Funeral Home, Milton, with Buddie Mills officiating. Burial will follow in Milton Cemetery. She was born May 19, 1935, a daughter of the late Harrison and America Thompson Payton. She was a member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church. She is survived by one son, Bill Cart; one daughter, Alice Cart; one stepson, Greg Stowasser; one stepdaughter, Pamela Stowasser; one sister, Dearlene Moore; and eight grandchildren, Wayne Hatfield, Walter Hatfield, Michelle Hysell, Renee Hysell, Kevin Cart, Kimberly Cart, Kristy Black and Kenneth Cart. Friends may call one hour prior to the service Monday at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.
