Obituary

Dovie Eloise Wallace, 67 of Milton went home to be with the Lord Sunday, March 13, 2005 in St. Mary's Medical Center.  Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, 2005 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with the Rev. Veron Wallace, Jr. officiating.  Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville.  She was born April 17, 1937, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Lula Clagg Nibert.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Culvy Ivan Wallace, Jr.: one granddaughter, Jasmine Michelle Carter and one brother, Elbert "Fats" Nibert.  She attended Mason Street Baptist Church, Milton.  She is survived by three sons, Johnny Cobern and Steven Ivan Wallace, both of Milton and Rick and Myrtle Cobern of Proctorville, OH: six daughters, Cathy and Tommy Chinn of Huntington, Debra Hassie and Delbert Adkins of Milton, Sandra and Kenneth New of Hamlin, Leshie and Chuck Smith of Ashland, KY, Angie and Greg Carter of Barboursville and Kim Keaton and Pojo Kirby of Barboursville: 16 grandchildren: eight great grandchildren: four sisters and three brothers.  Friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 16 at Heck Funeral Home.
