Obituary

Boyd L. Perry BOYD L. PERRY departed this life on Tuesday, October 18, 2005, in Bardstown, Ky. He was born February 20, 1917, in Milton, W.Va., to the late Walter M. and Chloe A. Dailey Perry. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gereda Shultz Perry, and a very special friend, Bonnie Meade; sisters Norma Petrie and Geneva Shanklin; brothers Walter Q. and William K. "Bill" Perry. He is survived by one daughter, Arvina Kaneff and her husband Warren Kaneff II; granddaughters Dawn and Steve Rucker, and Leah Kaneff of Bardstown, Ky.; grandson George and Michaelle Kaneff III, who is stationed at McGuire AFB in New Jersey; also six great-grandchildren. Other survivors include sister Pauline Webb and brother Clifford Perry. He leaves a host of friends from Barker Ridge. Boyd was in the Army during World War II and retired from Houdaille Industries of Huntington,as a chrome line worker. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Hospice of Nelson County, Kentucky. A special thank you goes to nephew Vincent E. Perry of Proctorville, Ohio. As per Boyd's request, there will not be a service at this time.
