Obituary

EFFIE VIRGINIA WEBB, 85, of Huntington passed away Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2005, in Cabell Huntington Hospital. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 3, 2005, at Heck Funeral Home, Milton. She was born July 24, 1920, in Cabell County, a daughter of the late James A. and Elida Boyers Glenn. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harrison Webb; three brothers, Bryant Glenn, Homer Glenn and Edmond Glenn; two sisters, Rosie Glenn and Mary Hayes. She was a member of the Barker Ridge United Baptist Church and the VFW Ladies' auxiliary. She is survived by two sons, Gary Lee Webb and Emeritus Webb and wife Elizabeth; one daughter, Evonna Joan Meadows and husband David; one granddaughter, Andrea Thomas; two special little buddies, Rylee Midkiff and Chris Holland; special sister-in-law, Barbara Mount and husband Dora; special friends, Doris Patterson, Scott and Regina Arbogast and Yvonee and Virgil Newman. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 2, 2005, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Huntington.
