Obituary

Charles W. “Buddy” McCallister, 68, of Lesage, went home to be with his Lord Friday, December 29, 2006 in the Hospice House of Huntington.  Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, January 1, 2007 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with Rev. Jerry Ryder and Pastor Paul Meadows officiating.  Burial will follow in Union Ridge Cemetery.  Buddy was born December 18, 1938, in Huntington, a son of the late Charles and Hattie Stanley McCallister.  He is also preceded in death by a half sister, Lillie Doran; one half brother, Stewart McCallister.  He is survived by his loving wife, Ethel Perry McCallister; one son and daughter-in-law, Charles Jr. and Wanda McCallister; one granddaughter, Alma McCallister; one sister and brother-in-law, Lillian and Ronald Perry; mother-in-law, Thelma Perry; one sister-in-law, Anita Eves and several nieces and nephews.  Pallbearers will be friends and family.  In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the Hospice House of Huntington, Hospice of Huntington or the Gideon’s association.  Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, December 31, 2006 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.
