Obituary

MARY MARGARET PERRY, 78, of Milton, W.Va., overcame her battle with Alzheimer's disease and entered into the loving arms of her Heavenly Father on Sunday, February 26, 2006, at Morris Memorial Convalescent and Nursing Home. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 1, 2006, at Heck Funeral Home, Milton, with the Rev. James Dailey officiating. Burial will follow in Bicker Cemetery, Milton. She was a faithful member of Barker Ridge United Baptist Church and was a retiree of Cabell Huntington Hospital. She was born December 4, 1927, to the late James Ellsworth and Clara Ellen Melvin Langdon. Also preceding her in death were her stepfathers, Henry Jenkins and Wallace Hanson; a brother, Charles Franklin Langdon; three half sisters, Garnet Dailey, Ida Burcham and Marie Langdon; and a half brother, Kenneth A. Jenkins. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Clifford "Gene" Perry; daughters and sons-in-laws, Carolyn and Curtis Roberts of Lesage, W.Va., Janice and Henry Tschirhart of Fort Worth, Texas, and Melanie and Philip Stemmer of Catlettsburg, Ky.; sons and daughter-in-law, Vincent Eugene and Kathy Perry of Rome, Ohio and James Bradley and Sharon Perry of Clovis, N.M.; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Friends may pay their respects from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, February, 28, 2006, at Heck Funeral Home, Milton and also one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, our family requests that you dedicate a portion of your time to support and encourage a caregiver of a sick or elderly loved one.
