Obituary

MIKE "PAPPY" JENKINS of South Point, Ohio, formerly of Milton, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, January 3, 2006, at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, January 7, 2005, at Heck Funeral Home, Milton, with the Rev. Chelcie Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in Jenkins Cemetery, Milton. He was employed at Blenko Glass Company for 38 years and was a dedicated brother and officer of the Fraternal Order of Eagles 2320, Huntington. He was born September 29, 1947, in Huntington a son of the late Leroy and Evelyn Jenkins. He is survived by his wife Connie; one stepson, Rusty McCoy and his wife Marjorie; two granddaughters, Alexxis and Madison whom he loved very much of Greensboro, N.C.; one brother, Tommy Jenkins; one sister, Judy Shull and her husband Steve; one sister-in-law, Shirley Shepard of South Point, Ohio; two brother-in-laws, Dan McCoy of Huntington and Bill McCoy of St. Petersburg, Fla., and a host of other family and friends. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, January 6, 2005, at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.
