Janet W. Ford

Janet W. Ford, 92, of Huntington, died August 21, 2012 at The Woodlands. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, August 27, 2012 by the Rev. Chip Graves at Trinity Episcopal Church with visitation from 10 a.m. until service time. Janet was born July 2, 1920 in Philadelphia, Pa., a daughter of the late Richard and Louisa Brown Williams. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Richard Williams Jr; a daughter, Ann Blackburn; her first husband, Gwyn Lytton and her second husband, James Ford. Mrs. Ford is survived by five children: Richard Lytton of Milton, WV, Barclay Bolen of Huntington, Jennie Fitzkee of Groton, MA, Sarah Buchanan of Nashville, TN, and Lisa Besse of Littleton, MA; 15 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, it is suggested that memorials be made to the Huntington Museum of Art, the Trinity Episcopal Church or to a charity of one's choice. Klingel Carpenter Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
