Raymond Tom Wiseman

Raymond Thomas "Tom" Wiseman, 69, of Huntington, husband of the late Susan Marie Wiseman, passed away on Wednesday August 15, 2012 at his residence. He was born on November 15, 1942 in Huntington, WV, a son of the late Ralph and Sadie Wiseman. Tom was also preceded in death by a son Thomas Alan Wiseman and a brother Stewart Wiseman. He is survived by two daughters, Diana Marie Nolan and her husband Richard of Huntington and Lora Ann Laverty of Huntington; one daughter-in-law, Vickie Wiseman of Barboursville; six grandchildren, Jeffrey and Scott Wiseman of Barboursville, Dawn Marie and Rachael Nolan of Huntington, and Tabetha and Samantha Laverty of Huntington and a sister-in-law Rose Wiseman of Palm Bay, Florida. Tom was a graduate and avid fan of Marshall University and owner/operator of A & J Trophy in Huntington. He was a retired secretary of the National Elks Bowling Association. Tom was a past secretary and Exalted Ruler of Huntington Elks Lodge BPOE 313. He was a supporter of the Big Green Foundation. He was an avid bowler and was active in the Huntington Bowling Assoc. Tom was a lifelong member at the Fifth Avenue Baptist Church. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 18, 2012 at Klingel-Carpenter Mortuary, by Rev. Hubert Harvey. Interment will follow at Ridgelawn Memorial Park. A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday, August 17, 2012 at the funeral home.
