She was the daughter of Howard and Louise McAllister Dudding and lived most of her life in Huntington. She was employed for many years by Inland Mutual Insurance Company, and also worked for the C & O Railroad and J.C. Penney Co. A long-time member of the First United Methodist Church, she participated in many activities there including the "crafts group," which she loved. She was known for her excellent sewing skills which included everything from tailored clothing to doll-making to home decor. She was also active in the Huntington Women's Club, serving in various capacities on the board, and was involved in the Huntington Pediatric Clinic. She and her late husband Robert L. (Bob) Mossman, to whom she was married for 50 years, loved to dance and were members of the Stardust Dance Club, the Cotillion Dance Club and several square dancing groups. She is survived by her children, Robert L. (Lee) (Cheryl) Mossman, Jr., of Houston, TX, and Sallie (Ed) Manassah of Louisville, KY; grandchildren Christy Mossman Aerie, Robby, Chad, and Nathan Mossman, and Michelle Manassah Lipper; six great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren, and a brother, Howard (Joan) Dudding of Georgetown, TX. The family will hold a graveside memorial service at a later date. It is suggested that memorial contributions be made to the First United Methodist Church, 1124 Fifth Ave., 25701.
