Angeline Marie Primerano
(August 5, 1925 - November 12, 2013)

Angeline M. Primerano, age 88, of Huntington WV passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2013 in the Midland Meadows Healthcare Facility in Ona, WV. Angie was born on August 5, 1925 in Pittsburgh PA, the daughter of late Anthony and Rose (Petraglia) Sottolano. She was preceded in death by her husband Bruno D. Primerano, her two brothers Nicholas C. Sottolano and Anthony F. Sottolano and one sister Helen Sottolano. She is survived by her son, Donald A. Primerano (wife Marie Manilla), two nieces Roseanne (husband Robert) Absalom and Camille (husband Keith) Papich, two grandnieces Nicole (husband Tim) Ratke and Christine (husband Patrick) Shanahan, one grandnephew Matthew Papich and two great-grandnieces Marlowe and Elle Ratke. Angie graduated from South Hills High School in the Mt. Washington district of Pittsburgh in 1943. She was employed as a bookkeeper for Hussey Copper for 5 years and for 32 years at the United Steelworkers where she rose to the rank of Head of Accounts Payable in 1979. She retired from the Steelworkers in 1987 to care for her mother. She moved to Huntington WV in 2011 to be with her son. In lieu of flowers, friends and family may make a donation to the Alzheimer's Association or to the Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine. A funeral service will be held 6:30 p.m. Friday, November 15, 2013, by the Rev. Bonnie Boyce, at Klingel Carpenter Mortuary. Visitation will be prior to the service, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Pittsburgh, PA.
