Edward Andrew Sigler III (Andy) passed away after a long illness at his beautiful farm in Mason County on Tuesday, September 24th. Andy was born and raised in Huntington by his parents Dorothy Morgan Bagley and Edward Andrew Sigler Jr. He graduated from Huntington High School and Marshall University where he was President of Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity where he was better known as Buffy or Siggy. He also was a member of the Army National Guard Reserves. Andy loved life, his family, friends, animals and his beloved farm. He was an avid outdoorsman, an athlete and enthusiastic farmer. He was truly a unique and unforgettable character. He leaves behind two sisters, Sallie Hillenmeyer and Susan Snyder who both live in Nashville, Tenn. He also leaves behind his step siblings Charlie Bagley, Lee Bagley, Sally Moore, Beth Bryant and Andy Bagley and their spouses as well as many adored nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial celebration of his life will be held 11a.m., Saturday, September 28th at the Enslow Park Presbyterian Church. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time at the church. His final resting place will be at his farm with a small private family service at a later date. Klingel-Carpenter is assisting with arrangements. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Huntington YMCA or the Humane Society.
