Gladys M. Keaton

Mrs. Gladys M. Keaton, 80, of Milton, WV, passed away Friday May 28, 1999, in Columbia Putnam General Hospital, Hurricane. Funeral services were conducted Monday, May 31, at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with Rev. Marvin Stewart officiating. Burial in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, WV. Gladys was born at Milton on April 21,1919. She was a daughter of the late Albert and Lida Marking Glenn. Gladys was also preceded in death by a grandson, Joey Black. She was a former seamstress for the Reliance Dress Factory, Huntington. She is survived by her husband, Oscar W, ‘Buster” Keaton two daughters, Janet Newsome and Peggy Black; two sons, William D. Darrell Keaton and Donald Keaton; and two sisters, Blanche Thacker and Leoma Lewis, all of Milton; two grandsons, Michael Sowards of Huntington and Jimmy Black of Milton and one great-grandson, Michael Thomas Sowards. Heck Funeral Home, Milton, was in charge of arrangements.
