Elizabeth Libby Midkiff
(June 3, 1924 - March 17, 2010)



ELIZABETH "Libby" WATTS MIDKIFF, 85, of Kenova, W.Va., passed away on Wednesday, March 17, 2010, at St. Mary's Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Kenova Church of Christ by Pastor Joe Pratt. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, W.Va. Libby was the widow of Donald M. Midkiff and the daughter of the late Millard and Vicie Ann Watts Bailey and step-father Jarvie Bailey. She was also preceded in death by a step-daughter and step-son, Eva Lynn Dillie and David Lee Midkiff; one sister, Ethel Bryant; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Jack and Ethel Mae Watts and Fisher and Clara Watts. Libby was a 1942 graduate of Vinson High School and worked at Casey Jones and Blue Jay Manufacturing Company. Libby was a member of the Kenova Church of Christ. She was an avid bowler, and bowled in many leagues at Colonial Lanes and loved the friendship. Libby is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Keith Michael "Mike" and Sally Scheibelhood; two daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia "Pat" Frances Hall and Randy Hall and Regina "Jean" and Roger Ward; and a special daughter to her, Mary Ann Lipps and her husband Jack; six grandchildren and their spouses, Troy and Theresa Scheibelhood, Christi and Andy Chapman, Beth Hall Reizman, Melanie and Mark Earl, Amy and Bubby Sato and Josh and Courtney Ward; six step-grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, one brother-in-law, Clarence Bryant, and a wonderful sister-in-law, Wanda Marie "Suzie" Smith. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, March 19, 2010, at the Reger Funeral Home, Huntington.
