Edmond Ray Workman
(February 5, 1934 - December 5, 2014)



Edmond Ray Workman, 80, of Kenova, WV, passed away Friday December 5, 2014 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Tuesday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Janet Mounts. Burial will follow in Spring Valley Memory Gardens. He was born February 5, 1934 in Cabell County, WV, a son of the late Clarence and Edna Mae Runyon Workman. He was a retired truck driver. Edmond attended the Pentecostal Truth Ministry Church. He was a veteran of the US Marine Corps and was a member of the NRA. Survivors include his wife of 60 years Janice Workman; five sons and daughters in law Terry Lee and Sheila Workman of Ashland, KY, Edmond Ray Workman, Jr. and Qiaoyun Li (Betty) Workman of San Tan Valley, Arizona, Earl Franklin and Velma Rose Workman of Lavalette, Kenneth Dale and Carla Jane Workman of Proctorville and Roger Allen and Angela Workman of Point Pleasant, WV; twelve grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; sister Judy Fry of Huntington and three special friends Barbara Rueger, Sara May and Katie. Friends may call from 6 to 8 pm Monday at the Reger Funeral Home. Veterans Honor Guard of the American Legion Post 16 of Huntington will conduct military graveside rites.
