Romayne Jarrell Maynard
(March 17, 1928 - May 15, 2014)



Romayne Jarrell Maynard, 86, widow of Ernest Maynard, passed away Thursday, May 15, 2014 at Rose Terrace Health and Rehab Center. She was born March 17, 1928 in Martin County, KY, the daughter of the late Tivis and Nevada Jarrell. She was retired from Maidenform Inc and was an Avon Representative for many years. She was preceded in death by sisters Lucille McCoy, Carol Kirkpatrick, and Carmen Brown and brothers Bob Jarrell and Forrest Jarrell. Survivors include daughter Loretta & Roger Henderson of Charlottesville, VA, sons Ervin & Edith Maynard and Gary & Connie Maynard of Huntington, grandchildren Jonathan Kirk Henderson & Renata Araujo Arigony Henderson, Elizabeth K Henderson all of Charlottesville, VA, Rachel Kathern & Keith Michael Brown of Charleston, WV, Zeb Vance Henderson, II of Charlottesville, VA, Michy & Dani Maynard of Fredrick, MD, Cristy Maynard of Huntington, Eric & Kaila Maynard of Hurricane, WV, Brian & Rachel Maynard of Springfield, VA, Brad & Jamie Maynard of Barboursville, WV, Beverly & Josh Porter of Youngsville, NC, and Brandon & Becca Maynard of Hurricane, WV; great-grandchildren Gabriel Arigony Henderson and Victoria Arigony Henderson of Charlottesville, Coletta Harper Brown of Charleston, Easton Maynard of Hurricane, Madeline Maynard of VA, Wyatt & Josie Maynard of Barboursville, and Caleb & Gavin Porter of NC, sister Barbara and Bill Henderson of Evington, VA, brothers Les & Jerri Jarrell of Ashland, KY, Glenn Jarrell of VA, Dan & Mert Jarrell of FL, Al & Jan Jarrell of FL, and sister-in-law Nancy Sweeney of Martin Co, KY. Graveside service will be conducted at 2pm Saturday at the Jarrell Family Cemetery in Hode, KY by Pastor Roger Mooney and Chaplain Josh Porter. Visitation 30 minutes prior to the service. Reger Funeral Home and Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements.
