Martin Lee "Marty" Bryant
(December 20, 1959 - October 27, 2014)



Martin Lee “Marty” Bryant, 54, of Huntington, passed away Monday, October 27, 2014, at King’s Daughter Medical Center, Ashland, KY, following his lifelong journey with juvenile Diabetes and now he is healed by the grace of God through Christ. He was born December 20, 1959 in Huntington, W. Va. A son of Richard A. Bryant of Ashland, Ohio and the late Peggy Ann Shafer Bryant. He was a former employee of West Virginia Division of Banking and First Priority Federal Credit Union of Huntington. Marty earned a living in accounting and banking, but he lived a life of generosity and care for others. Survivors include his father Richard (Sherry) Bryant, brother Michael (Mary Ann) Bryant, sister Sherri (Don) Paris, brother Brian Keith (Tammy) Bryant, uncle Robert (Garnet) Bryant, aunt Dolores Ashworth, uncle Paul Bryant, daughter Judy Bryant, step-children April Cooper Johnson (deceased), Robert Cooper, Terry Cooper, Teresa Cooper Kirtley, Eric Cooper and several grandchildren. Ministered to in his time of greatest need by Krista Christian, Toni Holderby, Debbie Goodwin and a number of other co-workers who loved him as if he was family. Memorial services will be conducted at a later date. Reger Funeral Home is in charge of Arrangements.
