Obituary



Georgia Marie Tomblin, 94, of Huntington, WV passed away on December 26, 2015 at the Wayne Continuous Care Center, Wayne, WV. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday December 30, 2015 at 1:00pm at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Don Napier and Brother Leo Maynard. Burial will follow at Community Gardens, Wayne, WV. Marie was born on June 3, 1921 in Wayne, WV the daughter of the late Archie and Irene Rena Ryan Staley. In addition to her parents she was preceded by her husband: Orman “Tiny” Tomblin, grandson; John Mark Frasher, sons in law: John Frasher and Larry Pelfrey. Six brothers; Jay, Bill, Bernie, Charlie Staley, Bob and Joney Porter. Two sisters; Edith Staley and Gladys Tomblin. She is survived by her three sons and daughters in law: Glen Roy “Butch” and Brenda Tomblin, Billy O and Kim Tomblin, John E. and Penny Tomblin, two daughters; Edith Frasher and Jan Pelfrey. Eight grandchildren and spouses: Samantha (Chris) Califitis, Billy(Michelle)Tomblin, Angela Weatherholt, Justin Tomblin, Brittany(Steve) Hann, Blake “Bo” Tomblin and Kara and Shandon Cihon, Daniell Pelfrey 12 great grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren. A special nephew Raymond (Geraldine) Tomblin of Navarre, OH. Friends may call from noon until service time at the Reger Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 30, 2015. Marie was a member of the Philadelphia United Baptist Church. A special thank you to all of the staff and employees at Wayne Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
