Obituary

John Andrew Creamer Jr. 39, died at St. Mary's Medical Center on Wednesday, December 14, 2016. He may be absent from this world but he is present with our Lord and the loved ones that went on before him. Born July 6,1977, he was a 1995 graduate of Vinson High School, and attended Capital University and Marshall University. He worked as a general laborer, specializing in tile applications. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Vonne Asbury and Ed and Ann Rita Creamer; his father John Andrew Creamer Sr and a stepbrother Brandon Lee Byrd. He is survived by his mother Cynthia Robin Byrd, stepfather James Byrd; Sons Kaleb Andrew Creamer, Jaxon Kain Creamer and daughter Lily Scarlet Creamer. He leaves behind a sister Melanie Vonne Menear and her husband Greg; a brother Bradley Ray Creamer and his wife Gabrielle; stepbrothers David Byrd and Danny Byrd, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and a tremendous amount of friends who loved him. John was a friend to all who knew him. He loved wrestling and was the only state wrestling champion ever from Vinson High School. While he had many struggles in life, he continued on with a great attitude. His battles with addiction were difficult to overcome, and he struggled daily but always had a good attitude and was forever appreciative of those who believed in him. Services will be held at Reger Funeral Home: Visitation Sunday 3-5, service Monday at 11, with Pastor Kim Stone officiating. Burial at Spring Hill Cemetery.
