Addie Fay Davis, 89, of Huntington, WV passed away on Friday, May 6, 2016 at the Huntington Health and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday May 10, 2016 at 1:00pm at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Hugh Summers. Burial will follow at Ridgelawn Memorial Park, Huntington. Addie was born on May 10th 1926 in Branchland, WV, the daughter of the late Leslie T. and Daisy Pearl Plumbley Adkins. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Davis and four brothers and one sister Arlo, George, Lando and Eugene Adkins and Irene Adkins. Addie was a retired teacher for the Cabell County Schools having taught at Washington and Jefferson Elementry and she was a member of the 20th Street Baptist Church of Kenova, WV, the Alpha Delta Kappa and the Red Hat Society. She is survived by her sons and daughters in law Charles and Deborah Davis and John and Kelly Davis; two grandsons John Tyler and Luke Conner Davis; one great granddaughter Lillian Mae Davis; four brothers and three sisters in law Lonnie and Margaret Adkins, Chelsie and Coralee Adkins, Ellis Ray Adkins and Jennings and Joyce Adkins; several nieces and nephews and special friends Debbie and Howard Early and Vicki Thompson. Friends may call from 6 to 8 pm Monday at the Reger Funeral Home.
