Obituary

Emily Dempsey Sharp
(August 7, 1939 - November 27, 2020)

Emily Dempsey Sharp 81, daughter of the late Jesse and Louella Dempsey, stepped through the veil and into the arms of her Heavenly Father on Friday Nov 27, 2020 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. She was preceded in death by her sweetheart of 50 years,  Louis Sharp and by her 13 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her loving daughter Cindy A. Sharp, a special niece Rebecca Pennington and was a special "Mimi" to Jenny Pennington and Jesse Pennington and their spouses and families. She is also survived by a brother in law Don Sharp and sister in law Linda Elkins as well as a host of loving nieces and nephews.Emmy was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and dearly loved her Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ. She was an example of charity and kindness and never met a stranger. Her great joy was to cook for her family and friends and her career incorporated that passion. She and Louie owned Louie's Pizza, she managed Heritage Station for several years and owned her own catering company during that time.Emmy touched the lives of all she met and was blessed to have a special friend,  Charlotte Dilley, that helped take loving care of her during the last months of her life.Emily will be missed by her family but they take great solace in knowing, as she did, that Families are Forever.  There will be no visitation or funeral due to Covid-19 but a memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at a later date.  Reger Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
