Obituary

Glen Robert Wellman
(December 15, 1942 - January 13, 2021)



Glen Robert Wellman, 78, of Prichard, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, January 18, 2021 at 12pm at the Reger Funeral Home Ceredo-Kenova Chapel. Burial will follow in Bean Cemetery, Prichard, WV. Glen was born on December 15, 1942 in Prichard, WV to the late Frank and Fay Bean Wellman. Glen was a shift electrician for Owens-Illinois before he retired. He enjoyed watching westerns, cheering on the Cleveland Browns, and his Saturday night poker games. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by four brothers. He is survived by his loving partner of 24 years, Johanne Little; one son, Glen "G.R." (Taylor) Wellman, Jr.; one daughter, Tammy (Charles) Winston; one step-daughter, Jerrica (Parrish) Matthews; one step-son, Jon Little; eight grandchildren, Kylyn, Colten, and Ryder Little, Zaiden, Easton, and Oakley Matthews and Ciara and Haven; one brother, Charles (Glenna) Wellman; and five sisters, Hazel Napier, Sherlene (Gene) Hiroskey, Thelma (Les) Murry, Kathy (Mickey) Plymale, Evelyn (Butch) Butcher; sister-in law Martha Wellman; and a host of nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 12pm until service time on Monday at the Reger Funeral Home Ceredo-Kenova Chapel. Those attending are asked to follow CDC guidelines and state mandates of social distancing and wearing a mask.
