Sally Trippett


Sally Trippett, 82, formerly of Huntington, WV  went to her Heavenly home on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at the Greenbrier Valley Medical Center, Lewisburg, WV.  Funeral services will be conducted at 12:30 pm by Pastor Roger Mooney on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at the Kellogg Independent Holiness Church of God. Entombment will follow in Spring Valley Memory Gardens. Sally was born on May 11, 1939 in Barboursville, WV to the late Merle Thomas and Alma Esther Edwards Warren. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Kellogg Independent Holiness Church of God for over 50 years where she was heavily involved in the church. She taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. She loved her church family. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution Anne Bailey Chapter. Sally was a loving mother, grandmother and mentor to all. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Herb Trippett; two sisters, Barbara Newton and Nancy Adkins. She is survived by a daughter, Leigh Ann Trippett and husband Brian Belcher; one granddaughter, Brittany Trippett; one great grandson, Rylan Maass; a sister, Dorothy Leece of Riverview, Fla.; a special niece, Mollie McQuaid; and a host of nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all of her loving family and those whose lives that she touched and especially  her nephew Sean Adkins. She also loved the Belcher, Banks and Clay families like her own. Friends may call from 11:30 am until 12:30 pm at the Kellogg Independent Holiness Church of God on Saturday, October 2, 2021.
