Ida Mae Jeffers
(November 21, 1950 - September 20, 2013)



Ida Mae Dolen Jeffers, 62, of Barboursville, WV, went to rest in Abraham's bosom on Friday, September 20, 2013. She was born November 21, 1950 in West Hamlin, WV, a daughter of the late Rev. Leonard Basil Dolen and Mary Esta Nida Dolen. She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Sarah Terry, Hazel Hutchinson and Mary Crabtree, and four brothers, Burt, Buddy, Pete and Junior Dolen. She was a faithful member of Park Circle FWB Church in Kenova and the Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by her husband of fifty years, Argie Jeffers; two sons, Argie Jeffers Jr. and Jamie Jeffers, both of Huntington, WV; two daughters, Treasa Bellomy and her husband Charlie, and Candy Swanson and her husband Robert, all of Huntington; her brothers and sisters, John, Bill, Rev. Sam and Rev. David Dolen, Lois Meade and Ethel Burth; eight grandchildren, Robert Swanson Jr., Brittany Bellomy, Tiffany Swanson, Charles Bellomy Jr., Jeremy Jeffers, Corey Jeffers, Rusty Adkins, and Haley Bryant, three great grandchildren, Brayden, Jaylyn and Braelon; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and family of God. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Monday, September 23, 2013 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel by the Rev. Thomas H. Terry. Burial will be in the Dolen Family Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to service.  Sister Ida had faith in Jesus, believed in his healing and she often said It's Wonderful!
