Anna Marie "Susie" Jarvis Turpin
(January 7, 1941 - May 15, 2014)

Anna Marie "Susie" Jarvis Turpin, 73, of Barboursville, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Sunday, May 18, 2014 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel by Pastor Jason Salmons. Burial will be in Arthur Cemetery, Ona, WV. She was born January 7, 1941 in Cabell County, WV, a daughter of the late Elmer and Ada Ryder Jarvis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis E. Turpin, three brothers, Elmer Jarvis, Jr., Donald Jarvis and Gene Jarvis, and one sister, Maxine Jarvis. She is survived by one daughter, Kimberly Strathman of Hurricane, WV; two sons, Lewis E. Turpin Jr. of Natchitoches, LA and Tony W. Turpin of Huntington; one sister, Ruth Geraldine "Peggy" Chapman of Ona; and one grandson, Jeffrey E. Turpin of San Antonio, TX. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 2:00 pm Sunday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
