William Richard "Mousey" Mount
(April 27, 1946 - November 16, 2015)



William Richard “Mousey” Mount, 69, of Milton, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 16, 2015 surrounded by his family at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, November 19, 2015 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Rev. Rick Watson and Rev. Kevin Shull. Burial will be in Bias Chapel Cemetery. Richard was a member of Union Baptist Church in Milton. He was born April 27, 1946, a son of the late William Henry and Dessie Margarette Knight Mount and the son-in-law of the late Richard and Maudie Edmunds. He was retired from ACF Industries with 16 years of service and from the Cabell County Board of Education as a school bus driver for 22 years. He was preceded in death by his infant son, Richard Matthew Mount; his three sisters, Shirley Clary, Linda Howard and Connie Mount; and one brother, Oscar Mount. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Linda Edmunds Mount and son, Brett Andrew Mount. He is also survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law Kenneth and Connie Mount of Huntington and DeWayne and Teresa Mount of South Point, Ohio; sister-in-law, Barbara Mount of Milton; brothers-in-law, William Howard of Huntington and Carl Clary of Glenwood; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jimmie and Rosie Edmunds, Sandy and Junior Cremeans, Denver and Marilyn Edmunds and Doris Noel, all of Milton; as well as a host of nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
