Edna M. Braley
(September 13, 1924 - September 5, 2017)


Edna M. Braley, 92, of Huntington, W.Va., departed this life on September 5, 2017. Per Edna's wishes, her body will be cremated and a graveside service held on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. at Oaklawn Memorial Park with Rev. Chelcie Gibson officiating. Arrangements conducted by Wallace Funeral Home of Barboursville, WV. Edna was born September 13, 1924, in Lincoln County, Ky., a daughter of the late Ebbie and Lola Cummins Braley. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Claudy E. Braley, Glenn E. Braley, Donald L. Braley, one sister Betty L. Braley Dunkle, and three grandchildren Crystal, Michael and Melissa Braley. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Carolyn Braley, granddaughter Deborah Braley Hendley and husband Tyrus of Nashville, GA, three great-grandchildren Michaela, Travis and Tucker Hendley, also of Nashville, GA and granddaughter Becky Ann Braley of Harrisonburg, VA, along with one sister Anna Faye Ray of Charleston, WV, and sister-in-law Nancy Braley of Ona WV. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Edna was a long time resident of Huntington, WV. The family would like to say a special thank you to Grayson's Caring Hands of Huntington, WV for the outstanding care that Edna received while at their facility. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
