James Earl "Bo" Lowe
(May 15, 1947 - September 13, 2017)



James Earl "Bo" Lowe, 70, of Huntington, passed away September 13, 2017. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 19, 2017, at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor Bobby Hall. Burial will be in Porter Cemetery. He was born May 15, 1947, a son of the late Orville Brady Lowe and Marie Sergent Lowe. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Gordon Lowe. He is survived by his wife, Janet Kauff Lowe; two daughters and son-in-law, Rebecca and Rocky Wood and Stacy Addis both of Salt Rock, WV; three sons and daughters-in-law, Caleb and Kim Lowe of Branchland, Jon and Julie Lowe of Chesapeake, OH, Wayne Lowe of Salt Rock; the mother of his children, Carolyn Lowe; one sister, Barbara Jane Riggs of Milton; one brother, Pete Lowe of Wayne; and five grandchildren, Austin Lowe, Kelsea Addis, Shyla Wood, Brady and Erin Lowe; father and mother-in-law Bruce and Marsha Kauff, brother and sisters-in-law Danny and Anne Kauff and Shawnda and Eugene Casey; special aunt Lavonia “Cricket” Porter; and a host of nieces and nephews, close friends and extended family. Bo was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving in Vietnam. He retired from the Cabell County Sheriff’s Dept. after 27 years of service. Pallbearers will be David Bias, Steve Dillon, Shawn Johnson, Roscoe Lanham, Larry, Steven “PeeWee”, and Matthew Beckett, John Kelly, Paul Fields, Doug Cisco, David “Bart” Adkins, Rod Adkins, and LeeLee Helms. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
