Patricia Jean Setliff, 77 of Proctorville, OH passed away after a short illness on Thursday November 5, 2013 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Beard Mortuary with Minister Larry Ferguson officiating. Burial will follow in Greenbottom Memorial Park. She was born Dec. 21, 1935 in Huntington, WV the daughter of the late Okey E. and Eva Sparks Clark. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Willard A. Setliff, a son Willard A. Setliff, Jr., three sisters, Ruth Bennett and Sandra and Rebecca Clark and a brother, William “Bill” Clark. She was a former private duty LPN and was the owner and manicurist at Nail Boutique. She is survived by a daughter, Diana Kay (Mark) Ferguson of Proctorville; a son, David F. (Paula) Setliff of Scott Town, OH; grandchildren, David Setliff, Jr., Sarah Ritter, Alicia Moore, Todd Setliff, Mark Varney, Amy Ansell and Jonathan Varney; great-grandchildren, Waylon, Jacob, Jeremy, Dakota, Hugh, Hunter, Gage, Mikayla, Christopher, Robin, Ashley, Christopher, Kiana and Brande; a great great-grandson, Jacobi; sisters, Barbara Taylor, Linda Kuhn, Shirley Maynard and Alice Sowards; and a host of nieces and nephews. The family would like to express a special thank you to the 4th floor staff at St. Mary’s Hospital for their excellent care and a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Christopher Branam for his compassionate and loving care of Patricia.
