Robert Mack Waugh
(August 14, 1926 - November 27, 2014)



ROBERT MACK WAUGH, 88, of Chesapeake, Ohio, formerly of Huntington, West Virginia, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, November 27, 2014. He was the beloved husband of Manya Denise Waugh. He was born August 14, 1926 to Mack and Lillie Casey Waugh. He served his country in the United States Navy during World War II as a Scout and Raider and underwater demolition. He was retired from BASF as Purchasing Manager after 39 years of service. He was a member of Kellogg Independent Holiness Church of God. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara Martin Waugh; second wife Shirley Mae Blankenship Waugh; his sister and brother-in-law, Erma Lee and Hank Deppner; brother and sister-in-law Kenneth and Mary Waugh; brother James Waugh; brother-in-law Rev. James Moore; and stepson, Christopher Andrew Gue. Survivors include his wife, Manya Denise Waugh; children Robert M. Waugh, Jr. (Karen), Sally Coburn, Joseph Waugh (Missy), Kathi Powell (Mike); stepson Adam Gue; brother Don Waugh (Faye); sisters Norma Moore, Nancy McComas (Boots), and Judy Carroll (Raymond); sister-in-law, Anna Waugh; grandchildren, Heather Ramsey (Andy), Josh Waugh (Chelyene), Zack Waugh (Ashley), David Waugh, Evan Waugh and Whitney Powell; great-grandchildren Nathan Ramsey, Lacey Ramsey, Brody Waugh and Bailey Waugh. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, November 30, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Beard Mortuary, Huntington, with Pastor Roger Mooney officiating. Interment will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Friends may call on Saturday evening from 6 – 8 PM at the mortuary.
