ROGER KENT WILCOX
(December 3, 1951 - August 21, 2015)

ROGER KENT WILCOX A memorial gathering to honor the life of our beloved brother, ROGER KENT WILCOX, who passed away on August 21, 2015, will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2015, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Beard Mortuary, Huntington. Roger was born on December 3, 1951, in Huntington, W.Va., a son of the late James and June Wilcox. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Kathi, and a son Roger Wilcox Jr. He is survived by his sisters Rose (Armando) Araujo of Sunrise, Fla., and Bonnie Wilcox of Huntington; by his Wilcox, Jones, and Charter cousins and his step-mother-in-law Jeannie Yates of North Carolina. Roger was born with a unique energy and joy for life and the desire to share it with others, whether that joy be a concert, a nostalgic road trip, an art show or a perfect homegrown tomato. His passions included photography, gardening, rock bands, fishing, cars, cooking, the ZZ Top Fan Club, and most importantly, visiting lifelong Cabell County friends to share time and memories with them, as his family hopes to do on Saturday.
