Obituary
Dorothy Ellen Warne
88 of Huntington, WV passed away on Sunday July 26, 2015. Her Mass of
Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday July 30th at
Our Lady of Fatima Church with Rev. Fr. Paul Yuenger officiating. Burial
will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on
Wednesday from 6-9 p.m. at Beard Mortuary. She was born August 6, 1926 in
Huntington, WV the daughter of the late Walter and Coletta Kain Caverly. In
addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James W.
Warne, a daughter, Sue Ellen Bellomy, a son Thomas Vincent Warne, a sister
and three brothers. She was an active member of Our of Fatima Church and was
a volunteer at Our Lady of Fatima School. She is survived by her children,
James W. Warne, Jr. of Monument, CO; Julia Ann Warne of Huntington; Debra
Elaine (Ronnie) Blankenship of Huntington; William Walter (Robin) Warne of
Wimberly, TX and Jeannie (David) Thomasson of Spring Branch, TX; a brother,
Robert L. Caverly of Christiansburg, VA; sixteen grandchildren, eleven great
grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. A special thank you to her
caregivers; her daughter, Debra, Marian Manning, Sheila Wright, Bill and
Rosemary Bronosky, Jane Eschleman and Cheri Shaffer. Those who wish may make
memorial contributions to Our Lady of Fatima Church.
