Bradley Allen Evans, 35, of Huntington, passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2016. Born October 29, 1980 in Huntington, he was the son of Ronald Brent (Mary) Evans, Sr. and Kathy Wheeler (Jack) Patrick. Though his life was short, Brad lived his life to the fullest. His kind-hearted spirit refused to be defeated despite his disability and he confronted every obstacle he met with a smile on his face. Above all, Brad was a sweet and loving son, grandson, brother, nephew, uncle and friend who will be dearly missed. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandparents, Jessalyn and Don Bailey of Ceredo, WV; his brothers, Ronald “Brent” (Tiffany) Evans, Jr. of Yulee, FL and Andrew Evans of Columbus, OH; his uncles, Bill (Dorthy) Wheeler and their sons, Jon and Nate Thompson of Huntington, John (Chantica) Wheeler and their daughter, Zoe, of Waldorf, MD, Sid (Becky) Wheeler of Kenova, WV and Kevin (Jessica) Evans; his nephew, Connor Bradley Evans and his niece, Skylar Evans, who is due to arrive in July. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Sidney Wheeler, Sr.; his paternal grandparents, Ronald and Lena Ruth Evans and his aunt, Barbara Burtcher. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, June 20, 2016 at Beard Mortuary in Huntington, with Pastor Mark Conner, officiating. Burial will follow at Woodmere Memorial Park in Huntington. The family will welcome friends one hour prior to services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Brad’s honor in support of the CMT Foundation at the Community Foundation for the Alleghenies, 116 Market Street, Suite 4, Johnstown, PA 15901.
