Dorothy June Lewis, 85, of Huntington, passed away on March 9, 2016 at Huntington Health and Rehabilitation Center. Born June 29, 1930 in Columbus, OH, she was a daughter of the late Albert C. Hamilton and Bertha Whitley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin P. Lewis and her siblings, John W. Hamilton, Richard L. Hamilton, Reva Kirk and Naomi S. Hamilton. She is survived by her son, Marshall H. Lewis of KS; her brother, William N. Hamilton of FL and her grandson, Franklin O. Lewis of MA. Dorothy was a past member of the 4th Avenue United Methodist Church and most recently attended the Westmoreland Church of Christ. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at Woodmere Memorial Park in Huntington. Arrangements have been entrusted to Beard Mortuary, Huntington. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her honor to the Westmoreland Church of Christ.
