James Garner Berlt

JAMES GARNER "PETE" BERLT, 86, of Huntington, W.Va., passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2017, at Heritage Center. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, December 1, 2017, at Woodmere Memorial Park Abbey of Remembrance. Burial will follow. He was born December 26, 1930, in Huntington, son of the late Garner and Erma Jeffers Berlt. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Robin Renee Berlt, and a son, Kim Alan Berlt. Pete was a retired property manager. He is survived by a son, Guy Berlt of Scottsdale, Ariz., and a granddaughter, Kristi (Jose) Pena of Florida. Beard Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
